What an awesome time catching up with old friends and meeting new ones! I was honored to exhibit my art on April 27th at Greenroom Gallery in Waikiki at the International Marketplace. Also joining us was super talented resin artist Bree Poort. I released the new "Sunset Beach Wahine" print, a North Shore Oahu themed print with some tasty subtle reds and blues.
New Hawaiian Islands Tote is now available for purchase! I was thinking about upping my advertising game by hiring a bunch of big shot actors from Hollywood, but then realized I had friends with Oscar-caliber talent in my very own neighborhood. If this informercial doesn't convince you, I'm not quite sure what will.
Thank you everyone for coming to see us at all of our summer events. It's been a crazy but fun summer here on O'ahu including the Made in Hawaii Festival, Haleiwa Arts Festival, Signing at Kahala Mall, and Trunk Show at the Disney Aulani Resort. I'm so blessed to be able to do what I love and look forward to sharing more creations with you in 2017.
We spent part of May in Yokohama, Japan exhibiting at the 2016 Greenroom Festival. Along with some amazing artists such as Christie Shinn, The Captain Surfs, Heather Brown, Donald Brink, Matt Allen & Susan Wickstrand (and many more), the event also had two days of music, food trucks, and retail booths for the surf industry. Japan, I'm already missing your food and hospitality.
Welcome to our new shop! After five years as "Everything is Jake!" we've decided to change things up a bit. Going forward our company will be known as "Nick Kuchar Art & Design Co.". This fits in line with Nick's vision moving forward as a brand and we look forward to continuing to offer super rad Hawaii-centric art and illustration along with excellent customer service and order fulfillment.
Aloha friends! Come on out to Roberta Oaks on the night of December 1, 2015 on Pauahi street... I'll be signing prints, babies and more. There may just be some art on sale so you can have fun AND take care of your Christmas shopping... killing two stones with one bird!
Big mahalos to everyone that came by our booth for the Made in Hawaii festival! We showed off a couple new items, had a rad sticker contest and gave out some freebies. See you next year!
Come on out to Waikiki for an evening of art and fun! June 21st, 2014 6-9pm I’ll be having a gallery show at the new Greenroom Hawaii (located inside the Sheraton Waikiki). See you there!
It was the Fall of 2003, my Senior year of college at Auburn, and I arrived at a girl’s apartment to pick her up for a date. She wasn’t ready yet and asked if I would walk her dog before we left. So, I put the dog’s leash on him and proceeded to sprint down three levels of stairs to a grassy area where I spent about 15 seconds letting him relieve himself.
