Description

There's nothing quite like the hum of a nearly 100 year old machine laying down custom stitching on vintage fabric. The second collaboration with Nick Kuchar and The Honolulu Social Club, these one of a kind originals include chain stitched renditions of Nick's art on vintage military jackets. Designed and made in Hawaii.

"Make Lei" features a lovely wahine, tradewinds and floral scents all in one wearable piece of art. Yellow hibiscus art on front chest and aloha script cuff.

Measurements:
Pit to pit: 23"
Top (bottom seam of collar) to bottom: 28.25"
Sleeve (from shoulder seam to end of cuff): 24.25"

Vintage Jackets are one of a kind and not returnable.

Without a tag this original chainstitched design is presumed to be stitched on a genuine OG-507 military service jacket. The OG-507 (Olive Green 507) was the work utility uniform (fatigues) of all branches of the United States Armed Forces from 1975 until its discontinuation in 1989. These jackets were made of a 50/50 cotton/polyester blend and were commonly referred to as “wash and wears”.
