It’s amazing to think that we live on an island in the middle of the Pacific, formed by a volcano. On Hawai‘i Island, molten lava still flows from Kīlauea. Inside Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, you can stand in awe as active lava rises to the surface and cools into hardened black rock before your eyes.
