I love everything about this part of Oʻahu. On clear days you can see Maui in the distance, spot humpback whales offshore, and watch paragliders catching thermals along the Koʻolau Mountains. From the trail you’ll see Mānana Island, often called Rabbit Island, and much of the windward coast stretching north. There’s something nostalgic and timeless about lighthouses in general. And for the more adventurous, calm days invite exploration of the tide pools below.
