This original chainstitched design is stitched on a genuine OG-507 military service jacket. The OG-507 (Olive Green 507) was the work utility uniform (fatigues) of all branches of the United States Armed Forces from 1975 until its discontinuation in 1989. These jackets were made of a 50/50 cotton/polyester blend and were commonly referred to as “wash and wears”. Due to the cotton/polyester blend, these jackets kept their deep green color for much longer and do not have the distinctive fade of the OG-107. This is a true vintage jacket and carries with it decades of wear and use. This includes minor flaws, frays, repairs and other signs of wear consistent with age.
